I'm currently in a Master's program at Seoul National University, Korea, majoring in aerospace engineering.
Below is the lab that I'm currently in, which is the Aerodynamic Simulation and Design Laboratory (ASDL).

My research interests include, but are not limited to, Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI), flapping aerodynamics, numerical flux, and grid deformation techniques.
I developed an in-house, FVM-based incompressible flow solver which can cover both laminar and turbulent flow regimes. I also developed a strongly coupled, partitioned in-house FSI code in coordination with Jeonbuk National University.
I have a strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), which includes the discretization of partial differential equations, Riemann solvers, ODE solvers, and linear algebra solvers like GMRES, etc.
The best part of CFD is that it covers physics (flow), math (discretization), and computer science (simulation).
I believe I'm an interpreter of mother nature that can bring nature into life, in our hands, and I'm proud of simulating nature even though it would look like nothing to her.
Other interests in academics
I'm also interested in Lagrangian and Hamiltonian dynamics, structure-preserving methods, Lie algebra, symmetries, and quantum computing.
I believe circumventing the vector approach is really attractive and beautiful.
But still, Newtonian mechanics is the most solid and widely used approach for now, especially in the engineering field.
What do I do in my free time?
I love sports and music.
Especially basketball and classical music.
I would go out and play basketball with my friends, and I'm also a huge fan of the NBA (especially Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets).
I love listening to classical music: opera, concertos, symphonies, piano recitals, choral music, and so on.
I also like playing the piano and singing. My favorite composer is Schubert. His melodies just shine.
I love to play Schubert's D.899 Impromptu No. 2, and to sing Schubert's Lieder (songs in German).
